  Manoel has 3 daughters and a son, who all grew up in Bladen Hall. After completing his 2 terms as a contract labourer, Manoel moved from Enmore to the nearby small settlement Bladen Hall, where he built a home. Manoel worked 2 5-year contract terms, completing these in 1866. In 1856 Manoel Gracis arrived in British Guiana with his 3 sisters - all as contract labourers. They were assigned to Enmore estate, on the East Coast of Demerara.
